Changing the society, and changing the future is entirely dependent upon us, the younger generation. As a concerned citizen, I advocate for education for the youth, which led me to create my organization STEMspire. Being passionate for science, I understand the value of science in developing the world, and want to preach the same to the youth, no matter their background. STEMspire’s primary objective is to generate awareness regarding all STEM subjects (i.e. Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) along with their importance in the real world, future scope in careers and its integration with Arts.
In addition, I had been part of the Global Youth Changemakers Program for a period of 8 Months, focusing upon Women Children, awareness on menstrual hygiene, and creation of reusable sanitary pads. I participated in the Indian Public Schools Conference Social Service Project, and helped with unique presentations and fun-activities with the blind children and elderly, including teaching origami artwork. I have also been a member of the Welham Community Service Organization, and helped organize several cleaning drives for the same. Currently, I also volunteer under Udayan Care affiliated Reach One Non-Governmental Organization as an English Language Teacher for underprivileged kids, and have driven them from not knowing a single word, to constructing and speaking complex sentences in daily life, using basic rules of English Grammar.
